PS: Sorry for the book i just wrote! Reading glasses at the read! lol
You know ive seen your name on a few of my tracks comment boxes and im only getting by your page now! Better later than never tho right?! lol First off congrats on AOTW (Artist of the week) which actually reminded me i needed to stop by here! Anyways to the track, dosent really sound like Techno to me, maybe sime mild Techno but i guess it would be hard to put this track in a genre becasue it really is a hybrid track spanning a few genres from Dub, dance, house even rock and country! lol It all blends together nicely tho, sometimes these tracks can be hit and miss but i think you have pulled it off! i dont know why but ths track makes me think of like the Nevada desert or something! lol Must be the tremolo guitar sounds that are always associated with the desert and western type films i suppose! lol The track works well and has a certain originality about it and i like, the only thing i could say i try and make the transitions more smoother becasue some of th elements in this track are just brought in and taken out with introducing them or anything. I think it will give the track a smoother feel to it, just my thoughts! lol Anyways as it stands right now i think its a cool track! Best of luck with it bud! Marty
Oppps thats me Essence by the way under a collab account! ;p
Liking the dub feel of this track. Pure Amsterdam Coffee shop business! Very laid back rythmns :) Production sounds sweet also! x
killer track, really loving it, interesting effect in the guitar sounds. Keep it up Deborah
Guitars really work.......synth pulse is a bit off I think but really like the feel and the whole concept......reggae chops definitely work as does the ragga pattern on the beats....keys are good.......like it. Kevin Mooney
As I like to say, moves and grooves. Pulp Music. Love it..R
trancy! this song's been on e's! I find it quite atmospheric and moody, for me anyway, which is a good thing. I agree with DaveRave about the guitar, it really works. Keep up the good work, rated!
Love the 'Spaghetti Western' guitars. And the choice of beats is spot on. Great composition and crystal production as well.
Crazy! On here it sounds too slow, on my pc player it now sounds too fast! Hey, but y'all say it sounds fine so who am I to argue! Thank you all!!. Much appreciated.:)
Nice groove/rhythm - fits well with the bassline. Can't help feeling that the guitar parts need a bit more reverb to give it 'atmosphere'! Some sweet ideas in there though. Rate it on the overall idea. As you say production can be tweaked/improved a little more. The ideas are there though! Nice work so far. Sonya Stewart.
Great vibe. Like the floaty synths and the reverby 'spaghetti western' guitars. Good arrangement. Works well. Think the bass could do more beef. Still, enjoyed it. Rated. Craig
Like the track generally - but I like the percussion which enters at around 2-20 - especially when it gains that reverb. I think that when you take an obvious filmic idea it would be a good idea to add some spoken vocal samples - only my opinion though - Just think that would give the track even more coherence.
Hello m8ey, I thought I would come along and see what your up to - nice techie intro there and that's a nice drop into a kind of retro guitar - love the idea, it really works. Now some reggae as well, it sounds like you are perfecting your style and if you carry on like this you will be a force to be reckoned with. Nice work.
You certainely caught the Tarantino feel bud. Nice big bass and those guitars really set it apart. Tempo sounds ok to me. Percussion is sweet. Easy rate. Barry
Hi, good groove you got going here. I like the use of the guitars and that stab that comes in! Maybe hold back a bit on the delay as i thought it got a bit cluttered at one stage but you certainly have your own style there. Well done!
Thanks Gete, your comments are always welcome. Did it play at the right speed for you? Might be my pc playing up! It should be at least 135bpm. If anyone else thinks it's slow please let me know and I'll take it off and uplooad it again. Cheers and thanks.
like this a lot, that big bass sounds really good, great idea with the guitars sounds like somthing out of desprado:)not to sure about the sort of gated synth dosent quite seem to fit with the free flowing guitars, theres wee ragga bob marley guitar stabs i likes:)the twinkley glass arp sound is really good then the track takes a new direction which i liked, good stuff
