Tribal Voices (BBC Radio Tees 16/03/13)
wow!! I must take a trip up North....to visit the jungles of Teeside....what am I missing???? Great sounds here!!
Hi Terry, Keith and Gibbo. Sorry about the delay but I wanted to say a belated congrats on making No.1 with this and also getting airplay on BBC Radio Tees. I sent my best work to BBC Introducing but unfortunately I can't seem to get any airplay on the BBC. Anyway you have done a great job with those Tribal sounds and the effects are marvelous. Glad to hear you three are doing so well. Enjoyed. PJ
I like this so much. It's could see a really nice remix to this and being very dancey.
MC Squared said: 1 February 2013 12:34 Wow, what a track! Sounds like something that might emerge if you put Pink Floyd, the Orb and Paul Simon into a studio room and said "write!" And yet, the idea of a room doesn't do it justice because the big sounds seem to reach out and touch every corner of the globe at the same time. If the music video for this track was one of those IMAX panoramic films with a camera attached to a small plane swooping over jungles, plains, mountains and deserts, man that would be epic! Can't believe this has only one vote so far. Here's another! ;) MY APOLOGIES...THIS HAPPENS WHEN TRYING TO CUT/PASTE ORIGINAL COMMENTS OVER TO NEW PAGE! K.
Thanks for the comment -have heard this quite a few times - still a great listen - congrats on the No 1.
hey thanks for the comment on my track all night. This track is very cool. different i liked it a lot.
Very cool track guys.... I hear all the different influences coming thorough. Blends together very well. I can see why it was playing on the radio...Great vocals on this too.. ya dig it!
PS. We are not members of the "Illuminati" The 'All seeing eye in the triangle' is just a co-incidence...hahaha!
Thanks guys for taking the time to check the page out. We promise that there's LOTS MORE TO COME! Why??? 'cos Terry's computer says so!!! and Kevin's polished his guitar strings with 'Brasso' and Ive washed me mic in hot soapy water. Thanks again. keith
Thanks for making the efffort to launch a purely collab page...and so it began in Dec 2012...seems a long time ago, and it is a bit foggy in my noggin'...how you guys just launched into this piece and there was no looking back is simply a greand tale of derring-do ...lost count of how many songs we have shipped parts back and forth.."...turn up the bass... use or lose..."...classic phrases from the guys...thanks for indulging the maniacal ravings of Canadian madman who has been BBQ-ing one too many winters in the snow :D...mostly half-baked ideas these days.
I like big time, real cool page and I look forward to hear what's coming next.
Awesome sound!
Great track and a great idea to set up a page for this wonderful collab. I am sure we will hear wonderful things from the 3 of you..............David
This is brilliant big thumbs from me! BTW Keith its NE28 lol :)
We got our own page! Well done Keith for putting this together, artwork is the db's.
P.S I love the artwork, the three images match perfectly, like your music, a perfect blend! Andrew
Hi Keith, Kevin and Terry, Wonderful, Tech/Tribal goodness, pulsing, layered, textured, great production, I love the lines "find our way back" it's so true and, it's what the world need for sure, back to reality! Thanks for this awesome track and D.L! Cheers, Andrew
I remember this one....go to Artist Menu, manage your mp3's. Click on comments by your song title, should be able to cut and paste those anywhere you'd like. Pleasure hearing you guys, anywhere, anytime :)
Loved it then. Love it now. Such visions this gives me. It's powerful and calming. All you voices sound marvelous and the harmonies just flow like a prayer.
Kallen WAGroup are :
Terry Wigmore : Canada (More music at : "Terry Wigmore")
Keith Allen : England (More music at : "Just kallen")
Kevin Gibbons : Wales (More music at : "A Tuesday Paradox")
The Kallen "Group" came to be in November of 2012 with their very first song "TRIbal Voices"
"TRIbal Voices" set the mold for many, many more collaborations. No easy task when separated by thousands of miles (and the chilly Atlantic Sea) The "3 Amigos" as they quickly came to be known, became very firm friends, sharing much of the same outlook on life, as well as sharing the occasional Graveyard shift and Digitalised tin of beans, (and Moosehead beer) ...they also shared their individual musical talents to produce a very strong and unique sound.
Terry-tronic...concocting the wacky compound of glue that sticks everything together.
Gibbo's-on-it...always the ultimate melodic voice of good reason
...and K-mad-pants-mic, that would-be-a-theatrical, cloth-capped-guy :-)
They quickly came to the notice of DJ Bob Fischer of BBC Radio Tees...and the Group would like to thank him for all the publicity, radio plays and interviews that they have enjoyed!
Where do they go from here? Fame fortune? Stadium tours? TV appearances? Any offers??? Someone??? Anyone??? :-)
