Canción Española
What a beautiful use of the Andalusian cadence! Inspired! Canción Española has the kind of natural, essential quality that one finds in traditional folk music—the root from which springs all music. Well done, guys!
..."like a very bass but subdues kick drum" = "a very deep bass like a kick drum but subdued with lots of reverb" Sorry about taht i mean that
I wasn't keen on "Nightmare" so while I was loitering I spun this. Nice spanish flavour with a twist of the 60s. Whoa... just a thought at pretty much dead-on 2mins there's a large thump in the background - like a very bass but subdues kick drum with lots o verb. I thought it was gonna start filling in once every couple of bars. I now realize it was just pickup from something else. maybe consider it as an idea for creating a tad more atmosphere? The vocal right at the end was really cool and I now I sound like i'm telling ya how to redo the song but more of that style of vox layered with the main vox or in-between would work for me oh nerky ones. 2nd listen dudes. Tis a cool song but just call me selfish for wanting things in it that ya haven't done. still reckon the bass kick would work. Thumzup for a very enjoyable track despite my observations (only made cos the tune affected me and I got into it too much).
Wow thanks for the comments Baz.Thanks to you too PJ . John and Paul.

****typo......with a glass of Sangria haha - C:)
Just imagined myself of Sangria lol reminds me of the music around in the late 60's - cool! Christy ;)
LOl Thanks DJC
Nice harmonies! Enjoyed the strumming, really enjoyed the picking once it started up. I could easily picture of couple of Nerks in sombreros serenading a senorita on the balcony above...muy bueno, amigos!
Good song! Really unique vocal sound you have going on that really works very well with the music. I enjoyed this. Thumbs up. Wait for Stars
That salt shaker is a really cool sound! You guys are such inventive minds...does definitely have a South of the Border feel! Mission accomplished! Easy rate!
I love the old school feel this song has. Kinda gives me a lost in thought late at night feeling for some reason. Great song.
Hi Paul - great vocals as always - the spanish lead guitar adds a touch of authenticity to the track - rated
You guys are so cool. Love the way you express these songs! Nice classy touches all over this song and epic harmony.
Thanks for the comments guys. It's always good to know what you think.
SWEET....!! Harmonies are wonderful! The sustains at the ends of phrases are amazing! The guitars do have the Spanish vibe, nothing over the top just the semi-tone rises and the odd lead fill. The modulated portion (1 min or so) was quite the build and carried the song to a new level. The string noise, at times was a tad distracting...some clunking of the instruments...but I gather this was "live" or some venue where these are just part of the gig. A Well-crafted and rendered song! Joy to listen to! Keep 'em coming! Thumbs to Paul and John!
It is always a pleasure to hear new tracks from you guys. I love the spanish guitar on this and your vocals are very strong like they always are. It's quite mysterious track but at the same time keeps me listening till the very end. Loved the li li li parts. Absolutely enjoyed. PJ
