Enjoyed this song. Reminds me of some of the great 70s singer/songwriter songs of that time, which I love. A well crafted song here. Really like chorus. Well done. Thumbs. Roger/Wait for Stars
More strong song writing from you guys. Good work, Rated. Gibbo
50+ here, and think you kids are sounding great! Seriously, it's a cool song, very relaxed with some nifty guitar and a smooth vocal delivery. Agree with Terry 'bout the chorused lead, but it's just a slight distraction from what overall is very decent production. One of you two kickin' those drums? Nice!
tbwig yeah were still getting beat up by the overall mastering of laying down the final cut ot the song but we will keep going and hopefully someday we will get one song right!! keo
Enjoyed this latest offering form the 2x 40+ dudes! :) Sounds like making music is a lot of fun for you! I like that. Wondered about the chorused lead guitar (:46s is OK,1:02 seems a tad forward, to my ears), and wouldn't mind the lead vox a bit more present...the overall output could be a tad more too, but I can reach for the volume control no problem :) all of the suggestions are just my ears, and you are doing just fine with your own :) I liked the bass and drum mix. Wouldn't mind you posting the lyrics...I enjoy following along :) Great tune guys! keep the tunes coming!
Very enjoyable listen! This does have that classic sound that Keith mentions but that's a good thing in my book. Fine recording and nice mix! -Mike
Some strong contenders for real classic tracks are coming out here from you...nice easy flow to the song...Vocal could be up a slight notch but thats all..I think. Cheers keith
Something in your voice reminds me of John Prine.. but just a little. I think it's your attitude and how you deliver. And deliver, you do well. A good song that all lovers can relate to.
HI guyz, we are Keith and Noel, two 40 somethings who love playing and recording our own stuff, we only do this as a hobby but would be great to do it full time.We both play all the instruments on our tracks and are still learning, we know we make mistakes and who doesnt!!! so any tips or feedback would be great!
