Peace an exercise in futility
hey dude thanks for the comments on my stuff. punk isn't really up my alley but think you have some pretty cool stuff. i like the 3/4 cadence of this track-gives it a power metal feel. the breakdown is my favorite part with the groovy guitar lick. keep rockin man! jonathan-RTE
not my genre, but i must say this, i can imagine this on a movie track i.e romper stomper lol. guitar is to die for m8. rated!
wow! The sheer energy of it all. Lots of deft and intersting touches too, I just MUST play this at my next house party, see them jaws dropping..... :)
after you posted on the thread I came back to listen again..LOL..still completely rocks:-)
Chipmunks rock! Original - wasn't too sure what to make of it at first listen, but there are some really cool riffs in there. Nice one.
thanks for the comments Jamie.. go maiden go!!!
After another listen,..I got an Iron Maiden vibe........cool
Very rockable! Nice work.A little bit "out-there",..but I love the guitar in all your stuff.
thanks guys... not sure if i can type whatever i want in the messages.. but on my site www.2charlie.com there is a link for the video to this song.. (couldnt manage to get the link on my page here...) when i get around to upping to a vip act then i can post my vids here... check it out peeps kinda curious whatya think... i think its cool in a funny sorta way...
ooohh, that came out and smacked me right on the nose :-) or me the drums are a bit sort of too digital for me, apart from that I think it really does pack a punch... the vocal interjections... sort of robotic Pinky and Perky are a a nice touch, and I luv the riff just after that.... enjoyed it well done!!
Nice one Phil man! Like the opening riff. You going all Megadeth here. Awesome stuff. Love the breakdown on the bass dude. This rips for sure. Rated!
Not my cuppa tea dude but I liked the drumming. It's got a good sound too and the chipmonk was cool!
Really like the driving beats and guitar! Yow! And your straight out vocals most suited to rock! If I seen this performed live I would have to get up, shake my hair around & play some air guitar! hehe... Love it! Rated :)
Remimds a little of devo's Jocko Homo/Mongoloid period, espacially with the vocice sample, really do like the overall sound you are vearing towards, cool stuff, rated.
good track - has the inyourface attitude I like so much from this kind of music - chipmunk spewing advertising worked imo..gets my rate.
Lol I like the chipmonk bit in the middle;)
Great rock sound. Not my genre but top production, great lyrics. Great upbeat vibe. Nice one, rated.
think the lyric is terrific...good riff but it could be cut short at the end without any loss imo....i am with Aaron on the chipmonk...don't think it sounds like it belongs here...its really not a cutesy song. But I enjoyed!!!
Thanx folks.. celtic frost i heard of, never heard them though... as for the chipmunk vocal.. well it was a stretch.. im not sure either.. but then again not sure what else to do with it at the moment...
Raw as fcuk m8 - nice work fella. The echoed voice is way too quiet m8 - this should be a part of the song to chant along to, Tom Gabriel Warrior style - it's hard to make it out without the lyrics (which is the way most people would experience it). Good changes throughout the thing too - for a three and a half minute song, this is plenty varied. You ever heard of Celtic Frost? I'm guessing you have..? Good work fella. Two thumbs up for this. Loved it.
mental. got to say the sped up chimpmunk vocal aint my thing. but hey its risky. like the guitar riffage...rate
Well, the world of 2charlie has been really really silent as of late i know, but i do stop by now and then to check out some of my favorites round these parts, and as always it's kicking!!!!!

Oue lead guitarist Joe, and drummer Richie have left the 2Charlie camp as of this month. The search is on for a drummer and lead guitar player in the queens, new york area. e-mail phil at [email protected] if interested...
Whew!!!! Some of us thought this wouldn't happen! (and some people I know thought it probably shouldnt happen...but we wont worry about them now will we???) But... On June 10, 2006 the debut c/d "Join the Crazy" was made available and from what I (phil) been hearing it doesnt suck!!! Since i have heard it doesnt i dont see any reason why you all shouldnt give it a listen or two... may grow on you and infect you with a bad case of ... "the crazy...Check out the site below... cool stuff there, and will always be kept interesting.. hey! if ya like after ya check out the site send a picture of yourself in and join the asylum if you like... not crowded now but...
Next up we have a track from 2Charlie called Feel you pain again, which is a very cool slab of rock/punk which clocks in at just over three minutes. Will do my customary 'what I like about track' part before I launch into the bits I think could do with a bit of changing/tightening :)
Kind of slow when track first began but once the guitars kicked in, made me excited to see what this song was going to do. The riff sticks in the head. Very catchy. Wasn't sure when the vocals first started (1st line) but ended up sounding real good w/ the delay effect. Like how you changed up the riff in the middle of the song, keeps listener's attention. This track is recorded and mixed ve
2Charlie (mic, mic :D ) are a new name to me and, presumably, MP3 Unsigned too. Nonetheless, anyone who is billed as hard rock/metal are going to get a nice reception from me, especially since I've started this months reviews in such rock style. As I've explained recently, I love rock, even though I don't play it much myself these days. It was my first musical love and I guess it
Well first of all I will introduce the band 2Charlie, Phil Kinkel - vocals/bass guitar, Dennis Rohrer - rhythm guitars, Joe (axeshredder) Cippola on lead guitars and Richie Spicer on drums. Make no mistake , this is a up front, in your face, take it or leave it band, and I think they make no apology for it. The song starts bam right off the bat, no messing around, and continues at that one pace
