I've been fumbling with the guitar for some years now. I spent my youth listening to 80s indie; Cocteaus, Killing Joke etc which, via American guitar bands Miracle Legion, REM and 10,000 maniacs eventually brought me into 'folk' and acoustic based music.
I've found myself at a time of life where I can start pulling the threads of my half written songs and riffs together before my liver spots get the better of me. So I bought meself a recording kit for the first time and stared into the void and jumped.... these are the first results. I'm currently looking at creating pieces that reflect memories of my child hood and life up to now, and hope to learn how to play properly along the way. Apologies for any glitches in the quality of sound while I get used to the kit.
