Darius attended Columbia College in Chicago where he studied music business, personal management, and marketing in music, and often performed at local clubs, and coffeehouses in the Chicago area. He recently attended Musicians Institute where he studied how to improve what he was given at an early age, the gift of song, and proper vocal technique, theory, as well as performance presence. His style of music can range anywhere from rock to jazz, but he focuses on smooth r&b;, soul, funk, with jazz inflected hip hop, every thing he listened to as a child up until now, which can be felt in his music.
