An acoustic-based, psychedelic pop duo, StrangeCloud formed in 1998 as a trio and quickly underwent various personnel changes. The current duo has performed over 150 shows since fall 1999 and has released 2 highly successful indie CDs. While earlier projects focused on the acoustic, alt country sound, the newer material is more pop and rock oriented. The new CD "Psychedelectric Orange" was released on May 4, 2004 and contains 11 new StrangeCloud songs, plus licensed versions of the Beatles "Things We Said Today," and Pink Floyd's "Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun."
