Hailing originally from Massachusetts, Jimmy started writing and playing guitar at age 11, and formed his first band "Opaque" at 14. Recruited as lead guitarist for the area's top band "CUCKOO'S NEST", he played up and down the New England coast during the early 70's
Spanning a musical career of over 30 years, Jimmy has played all over the world with many different bands and with his own "JIMMY STEWART BAND". Limited commerical success came with the release of his solo LP, "Cordially" in the UK. The album was mastered at Utopia Studios in London, and distributed by Pinnacle Records, London England. Now living in the mountains of N.E. PA, Jimmy writes and plays at his leisure, in his own, newly built studio and for his own indie record label.
