December Aeternalis (at-er-nal-is) hailing from northern New Jersey was formed in 1996 and has endured many hardships since the birth of the band. The band has survived many broken bones, arrests and member changes, yet still charges forth with their own brand of emotional violence. Formally known as just December, the band decided in 2002 to add Aeternalis to avoid legal hassles. The addition to the name is appropriate, as December Aeternalis means, "The Eternal December".
