Although we go about our days with casual indifference there is a shadowy undercurrent of fear in the minds of almost everybody in the country. Weapons of mass destruction, lung cancer, postal voting fraud, ID cards, gm crops, Prozac, cloning, terrorism, propaganda, crime and corruption. An icy unease has gripped this generation, as it did the last, and it is only right that the art of this generation should reflect the feelings of paranoia and impotence that lurk, cancer like, in it's frontal lobes. Enter, then, Spider Kitten, a band that encapsulate perfectly this mistrust of modern life.
