Why this name?
We chose the name encounter because our primary goal is to have a real encounter with Jesus and to help others connect with Him as well. This is our desire as a band to encounter the true living God!
Do you play live?
We have played at churches, coffee houses, and many youth gatherings. We have just started so we haven't had too many opportunities yet but looking forward to this coming year.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it is encouraging to be able to get our music out there for people to listen to in such an easy way. Because of the internet, people can listen all over the world and I think that is so cool!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Probably, if that was offered to me.

Todd and Stacey:
My wife and I grew up in Central NY and moved to PA to pastor youth and lead worship. We met all of our band members through the ministry.
Frank Cirillo (drummer)
Frank is originally from Philadelphia and has also lived in New Jersey and now here in Central PA. Frank is extremely passionate about drums and is a great musician.
Dean Lusby (bass)
A friend of Frank's and now mine. I met Dean through Frank and we both seem to have a great time playing together. I know that Dean loves movies like the "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" and "The Gods must be Crazy"
Joane Walker(piano)
Joanie is a new edition to the band and has been in our youth group for the last five years and is now graduated and really has a heart to worship the Lord.
Misty Faust (vocals)
Misty is a phys. ed. instructor at many different schools and enjoy worshipping God. She has a heart for the lost and has a great voice.
Jordan Alvarez (sax, flute, keys)
Originally from LA, he has an extensive background in recording and live performance in places like Los Angeles and Las Vegas.

Equipment used:
I use taylor acoustic and a gibson les paul with fender amps. Frank plays a premiere drum set. We use yamaha keys. Getting ready to use mackie onyx for some recording.

We love music and love to get together and play! This is our passion to make music that is pleasing to the Lord!
