Rochelle has been singing and performing professionally since the tender age of seven.
And with the guidance of her parents, Rochelle’s talents were encouraged and nourished.
Rochelle has performed with some of the biggest Latin bands in the music business, some such as Andy Montanez, La Sonora Poncena, Milli y Los Vecinos, and more.
At the age of nine Rochelle performed in a musical at the CHICAGO THEATER, where
seated in the audience was Helmunth Shaerf, a well known producer in the Latin music
industry. Helmunth was so impressed by Rochelle’s unique voice, that he took her under
his wing, and by her 10th birthday Rochelle, (known then as “Rosita”), was a respected
recording artist, with a hit album entitled “Una Chica Mas” released on CAPITAL-EMI
records in 1990. Rochelle became an instant phenomenon in Mexico as well as in other
Latin countries around the world. “Una Chica mas” her other three hit singles, “Baila Salsa”,
“Te Quiero Te Amo”, and “Amigos”, a heartwarming duet with the legendary JOSE FELICICANO, which held the number one spot on the latin charts for two consecutive weeks.
Rochelle has also been invited to perform on several well known television shows in Latin America like “SIEMPRE EN DOMINGO”, “LA MOVIDA”, “CALIENTE”, and many more.

At the age of fifteen Rochelle was discovered by “SOS Records”, a well know freestyle label, and Rochelle was again on her way to the top of the charts with her debut single “PRAYING FOR AN ANGEL”, produced by 20 fingers, along with her other two singles “NENE”, and “HOLDING ON TO LOVE”, which went platinum in Asia.
She has been compared to Gloria Estefan, for her ability to sing equally well in English as well as in Spanish, Rochelle is a dynamic performer who can do it all from phenomenal Freestyle, R&B;, Salsa, to beautiful ballads, and song writing.
Rochelle is currently writing her new album with Abi Cruz, and is performing locally with his band. Rochelle is well on her way again and stronger than ever, ready to create her own unique style.
