Andy Whittle  (Folk)
Singer Songwriter (23) from Nottingham, UK Playing Acoustic Guitar with a folky feel.

Lucky Stars (Folk)

Artist Comments
Tried to make an upbeat folky type song that would get your feet tapping. Recorded in a live room at a Nottingham studio. No effects on anything exept a bit of compression on the vocals.

Andy Whittle is a 23yr old singer songwriter from Nottingham. His songs are beautifully written, and delivered with expressive tone and meaning. His debut album 'This is only the start' comprises 10 perfectly crafted songs ranging from tenderly performed acoustic ballads to full on upbeat acoustic rock - with a slight folky influence. He is somewhere between 'Paul Simon' and 'David Gray' with a harmonica thrown in for good measure! A must see. He also the front for popular Nottingham band Glasshour - SGW
Andy began his musical career on the piano when he was very young. When he was 17, he took up guitar, and teaching himself, quickly developed a distinctive style. He played in several covers bands before the thirst for writing his own material gripped him, and he started a band called glasshour. Andy still plays with glasshour, but at the same time has also launched himself as a solo artist recording his debut album 'This is only the start' which he is promoting in 2005.
