Alphadelta (25) represents a melodic trance style incorporating feeling and energy. His tracks range from the more laid-back dreamy Balearic style with heavy use of pads and strings, to more energetic uplifting trance with catchy melodies.
Andy started djing/producing in his mid-teens, and progressed to music production after being inspired by the likes of Dj Rap’s ‘Spiritual Aura’, LTJ Bukem’s ‘Horizons’ from the drum & bass scene, Agnelli & Nelson’s ‘El Nino’, and local neighbour Nick Bracegirdle of Chicane’s ‘Offshore’ from the trance/dance circuit.
Following a Music Tech course in London, Andy was introduced to Fruityloops (now FL Studio) which set the ball in motion. As software became more and more influential and music production became more accessible to the bedroom producer, Andy came up with his first trance composition ‘Piano Tune’ and his renowned alias – Alphadelta.
During the last few months Alphadelta’s tracks have been becoming increasingly upfront and well received among a large global audience and online community. Among the much international talent that exists on the trance scene at the moment, Alphadelta is proving to be one of the UK’s most prolific up and coming trance artists. He has produced many of his own memorable tunes and is gaining valuable experience all the time.
Time being precious at University means music takes a back seat at times, but most time away from his daily routine sees Alphadelta spending time doing what he does best – writing music.
