Born November 25,1985 Troy, Missouri, USA. She appeared in local dance revues and church choirs as a young girl. She loved music, it was in her blood so to speak. Her father being a musician himself, she was around music all the time. Her father rehe....d with his band 4 nights a week at the Williams home, where Cassie sang with her father every time. Her mother sang as well, Jazz. Her mother had said to her grandmother " My baby has talent, listen." Telling her friends, I think Cassie can sing, what should I do?" So, Cassie's mom put her in dance school, vocal lessons, and worked with her all the time. Sadly, Cassie's number one fan died on August 11,1996..when Cassie was 10 years old. " A part of me died that day, my whole heart sunk" Cassie has said. " I will never give up on my music career because of my mother, I know she is still my number one fan and is always behind me. Cassie has had some heavy weights behind her, the same duo who brought you S.O.S. (Rescuse Me) Rhianna, also wrote and produced Cassie's Just Like That and I Know you Know.
