Callaghan started writing songs in her teens and moved to London at the age of eighteen to pursue her dream of becoming a professional singer-songwriter. She has developed her own unique style of acoustic folk/country which has proved to be a big hit both in Europe and in the States. She has over 20,000 registered fans who regularly send messages of support and encouragement and a well established following who attend the many gigs she performs in London. Callaghan has received support from all over the world, including Music Row in Nashville. "Callaghan" is the artist's family name and Callaghan is proud to have developed a loyal fan base who associate her unique style of music and captivating voice with her Irish roots.
"CALLAGHAN is an exceptional vocalist and writer, influenced by artists such a Carole King, Jewel and Sarah McLachlan. Her style fuses elements of melodic pop, folk and country. The combination of her effortlessly powerful and pure voice with emotionally packed lyrics is a spine-tingling experience. You don't want to miss this performer on her way to major recognition." The Troubadour, London. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "CALLAGHAN is one of those artists that you feel you have know all your life. Her voice and songs arrive as welcome visitors and remain with you as old friends. Well crafted and meticulously performed music for everyone who loves great songwriting and passionate interpretation". Tony Moore, The Bedford, Balham. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "CALLAGHAN has an angelic voice that is both delicate and strong. It seems there is not much standing in the way of success for this artist." John Allen, Senior Creative Director, Bug Music, Nashville. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "CALLAGHAN is really refreshing in today's vast pool of female talent".
