Absolute aka LaMia began her music career at the age of 13. She began recording with Award winning songwriter/producer Warren Allen Brooks. Mr. Brooks is also her uncle. Having no studio experience at the time, Mr.Brooks helped Absolute polish her skills and started recording her demo. Absolute enjoyed working with her uncle but did not share his view for her to become a Techno singer. Absolute's heart was in RnB and she wanted to pursue that 100%
Today, LaMia aka Absolute is closer than ever to achieving her dream. She is recieving radio rotation on her song Mr. P. Which is a remake of a Motown hit. Absolute has performed at many events, concerts and venues but is excited that she has been presented with an offer to tour with a National group.
Absolute hopes that soon she will be able to share of gift of song with the world....I think that will be very soon.
One of my greatest influences would have to be from Gospel music period. I grew up in the church so thats my roots. I do enjoy Monica, TLC, Deborah Cox, Anita Baker, Toni Braxton, Patti Labelle, Brandy, Mary J Blige, Martha Wash, and Sisqo.
