Dashawn Lewis better known as his outstanding rappin name Ko Swagg was born in Newark, New Jersey on March 31, 1993. Growing up as a little kid, Ko Swagg has been around music. He is highly influenced by his uncle OSOLO ( Big Time Irvington Rapper). He wrote his first song at the age of 6. Ko Swagg began to focus on rapping in the year 2009 with his big cousin. They formed a group together called 2Life. They created about 30 tracks together. By the middle of 2011, the group officially broke up due to his cousin's college career. That left Ko Swagg solo for a while. In January of 2012, Ko Swagg met up with one of his close friends that he knew that could help him get noticed as a rapper. He met with a big time producer name Savage to help him out. He impressed the producer showing off his talent. That earned himselp to a major big time spot in one of New Jersey's young rapping group Savaage Boyz!! Eversince, Ko Swagg has been working hard everyday and night to prove a point to everyone that he has potential to be somebody. He has been working on his 3 mixtapes that he believe will help him get noticed, ( In The Notebook Vol. 1, Vol. 2, and Vol. 3). The In The Notebook series is to show everyone how he feels and that he will be a big time rapper some day. He also is part of the Savaage Boyz group mixtape ( Do U Hear Us Now). Ko Swagg's hard work has made him one of the biggest faces of Savaage Boyz. He had his 1st ever performance on June 13, 2012 with his group. He is currently working on his In The Notebook Series. It is just a matter of time before you guys hear about Ko Swagg. The sky is the limit for that man!!!
