My Rickenbacker 12 string has arrived, and I think I'm going to explode I'm so excited!
 
My first ever 'real' guitar, and the one I've been dreaming of owning for at least the last 10 years.
 
It's at home, and I'm at work, so I haven't seen it yet - I might have to go home for an extended lunch break..

Man, I love the sound of a 12 string!!  You won't even need to play it well to please me.  Just strum it a few times and loop it for 5 minutes -- I'll give you a 10!

Well, I nipped home for an hour at lunchtime, since I couldn't last till the end of the day.
 
It's a 360/12 in Mapleglo (like Roger McGuinn's) - sounds absolutely gorgeous, and is beautiful. It's a bugger to play (the strings are so close together!), but I'll get the hang of it, since I'll be playing it a LOT!
