Trying out a number of new things with this remake of an old favorite.  Used to be a keyboard tune, but a wrist injury kinda ruled that out, so I completely switched it up and made a guitar piece out of it.  Got a couple of drum tracks here, Cap'n Casio is hangin' out on the left channel and I'm pleased to have friend and neighbour Randy Perryman kickin' his kit over on the right.  Using a mastering patch on this I haven't tried before, but I'm liking the warmer tone.  Hope to have Mike on board in the near future, but for the moment here's

Perfect way to start a quiet Sunday morning, distorted guitars with the man in black sneering through another set of cracking lyrics, loved it :)

Hey, thanks fellas, much appreciated.  One of the better song's I've been blessed with, not sure yet if this rendition is quite where I want it to be but it's getting there!

Got a smile out of the "man in black" bit, Allan!  Thanks for that, Johnny took a lot of abuse early on for his unconventional vocal style, hanging in there paid off for him, didn't it?

Thanks, Gav!  Enjoyed listening to your piano piece "Esoteric" this morning,  thanks for stopping by.

Mixing in Randy's drum kit  has always been tricky, Kevin.  He's still rather new at playing them, I'm still a lout on the mixing board counting on dumb luck to pull me through.  Part of the problem overall has been matching instrument and vocal patches with a mastering patch that does them all justice.  Consequently I generally try and get as much of a "live" feel as possible, as producing something slick and professional is beyond me just now.  Thanks for stopping in!  I've still got to get around to checking out Divine's music, seriously, I thought he was just an actor/actress!

Thanks Ricky!  Encouragement from you guys has me taking some chances that seem to be paying off, vocally anyway.

And thanks to all who helped this make #10 on such short notice; probably should have posted as a WIP as there are several changes in the works for this, but I'm glad to see it's appreciated in this format, this is how Randy and I play it live.
