So we had this "Ice Storm"    the epic weather event of the year.... about an inch of ice covers everything 'cept roads.... they cleared quickly... nearly every tree in town has fallen or had branches fall...

Power is out to pretty much the whole town and has been since 36 hrs ago.... 27,000 with no power... Press conference just now says will be another 5-7 days!    huh... what? temps here are about 29�F - 36�F

House was a balmy 45�F this morning I go to Walmart to buy some survival food and such...   no firewood exists in the state for purchase....   people are fighting over cans of SPAM I made it out with bread, chips and some hotdogs and soup...   

I'm now in training for the end-of-the-world

SO........   I wont be on very much untill further notice....   carry on making music though without me please... I'm taking the way of the caveman, and have just picked out my rubbing sticks to make fire! so Im elated :-)

Jeeez, Mark - that doesn't sound like much fun - but it seems to be happening a lot all over the country last couple of years...infrastructure is not holding up like it used to in a crisis....hang in there, buddy...sending you warm thoughts at least....

Same thing here, my houses power hasn't went out yet tho, I think the news said 5,000 ppl are without and hopefully I won't have to deal with that, dress extremely warm.

Sounds really scary. Whenever it snows in London everything comes to a standstill cos we're not used to it!

Funny how people act during 'sudden' times of hardship, hehe. Good luck and bundle up!! We are getting ice tonight (and snow; at least thats what they said...)
