Soundtrack music required for Horror film - all genres

Hi all,

I'm just in the middle of wrapping production on my first horror feature called "Backslasher".

It's a bit like the "Scream" movies and I'm just starting to look for artists who would like to be involved in the soundtrack. Initially I can offer a copy of the final DVD and credit - but if the film does well we'll release the soundtrack and 50% of the soundtrack profits will be split between the artists who have singles on it. However, I'm not really expecting to make back the money I've maxed out the credit cards with, so peeps looking for fortune more than fame may be disappointed.

Depends on what sort of sounds you're looking for, my style is usually more atmospheric and experimental. It's not standard soundtrack fare i.e. strings and piano motifs, it ranges from vocal pieces to disorientating beats so if you're looking for something a bit different then give me a shout. I'm away for the next two weeks but I'd be up for giving it a shot!

I`ll offer you a classical piece which is probably the most unlikely horror sound track ever but then I've heard a few tracks recently accompanying movies that shouldnt work but somehow they fit perfectly.

Good to see some interest from You guys on here, I know Tim, the director of this film, in fact I have been helping out with boom and other duties on it. If anyone else out there has anything I can vouch that it is a genuine project. He also used some artists from here for his sitcom pilot although a few of the artists he contacted never got back to him.
