Unable to comment?

When I try to leave a comment on tracks I get a window that tells me "Transaction not completed ... message not sent due to Spam filter"? Any ideas what this is and how I can get rid of it please?

Hey Mark, just ignore the error message. It should show once you leave the artists page so go ahead and download and or vote as normal. Check back and your comms should be there.

I have also had this problem, when commenting. A bit annoying, because if you make a new effort inputing the text, you suddenly have two versions of the same comment.

This week I have also had a similar problem with the comments: I have checkmarked, that I want an email message, when someone has made a comment and my email address is correct. This week I have got some comments to my songs, but no automatic email was sent.

Could it be the same Spam filter, that is blocking the transfer??

Default no e-mail notifications of comments being left on tracks

I am experiencing the same difficulties as Peo: others are visiting and leaving comments, but no e-mail is being sent so I am not aware of who is visiting and commenting.

Just an FYI and hoping for some advice on how to rectify this.

P.S. saw Mal's advice to Mark...agree...just ignore the error message and press send only ONCE Unless it is a particularly nice message then send it repeatedly

same thing here. the error message "Transaction failed. The server response was: Sending address not accepted due to spam filter" A pain but just hit ok prompt and refresh the page.

After hitting replly the message appears. I ignore it now and close the page, then go back and my message is there....so my advice, do NOT hit the button again after it says transaction failed or whatever.

Im getting the same issue, I am also having problems with the player i have to click on another track in an artists link and then back again to get the song to start. The comms message is slightly annoying as no e-mail is being sent to tell you an artist has left a comment. I am using Chrome and wonder if any recent updates are causing issues? I also wonder if the latest version of flash is also causing problems??

I am experiencing all of the problems mentioned in this thread. These issues are definitely bugs in the MP3U system. Many work-arounds are mentioned here, but solving the problems ... that is up to the MP3U Team!

I would have expected the Support Team to make a comment in this thread, if they are planning on adressing the issues. It is never a good sign, when a support team ignores the issues mentioned by the users.
