Input string incorrect?
Michael Ritchie Michael Ritchie is offline 29-01-2013, 06:37 AM

Tried to post a comment on Dan Michaelson's page and received: Input string not correct -or something to that effect? Have gotten this one before awhile back on another page but cannot remember whose it was? I think it was Wolf and Dragons page? Anyhow, just to let you know.

Still getting the same error on the same page. No issues on other pages?

Hi Michael. Have you tried clearing your history and cached files/temp files? This sometimes works with little tech problems with the site.

MP3U did have some updates done earlier this week though so thanks for letting us know about the problem I will check out Dans page myself to see if I get any issues, so we can try to isolate the problem. Thanks.

The present site coding is ridden with bugs, a result of too many minor updates which sometimes clashed with each other or re-introduced old bugs that had already been fixed...

We are currently working on a huge rehaul of the entire site, a rebirth in a way, working from the ground up with a clean slate. All I can say is, please bear with us until it goes live.

For now, my advice for anyone experiencing problems posting comments remain the same: try posting the comment via a different browser. It's a pain in the ass, but from the reports of everyone who tried it, it works every time...

Again, sorry about all of this...

Darth
