help please!

I was lucky enough to get a new computer for Christmas and prom[ptly installed Firefox as my browser. Since then, I have had to sign in to this site every time I come here and although I click remember me, which used to keep me signed in, it now doesn't.

As you know, I need detailed explanations please because I am a bit of a technophobe but you will be pleased to hear that I have now magically got access back to the message board lol

Also, how can I find my own page really quickly after logging in?
