Further feedback...

Moan, moan, moan, whine, whine whine.. is that all you do Ffabbia?

Course it is!

So, here's some more: I realise that you are probably bogged down in more important stuff, but if, at any point, you do have a spare moment.. here's some issues that I feel could help improve things a little.

Ability to edit reviews once posted:

First up, when you post a review, and hit the final button to put it up on the site - that's it! Finito Benito! Any mistakes or dodgey formatting and tough luck buster, you're stuck with it!

I realised this to my cost when doing a recent review, which was typed in advance via word processor, then copy pasta'd into the relevant fields. All the formatting looked great, all nicely spaced out, relevant stuff bolded and italised etc. etc...

Only once posted, it appeared in a tiny, hard-to-read sans font, no paragraph spacing, no formatting....

Is there any method of going back into a review we've posted and editing it, just like on the forums?

Obviously this should only apply to reviews we have posted ourselves (ownership and edit rights belong to original poster only).
Skip the score sheet:

I dunno about anyone else, but I absolutely hate being forced into giving an arbitrary numeric score to a track. To my mind it creates an emotional disconnect between the music and the listener, and ultimately devalues the entire thing.
Any chance of making the scoresheet optional? Let those who wish to skip this part do so....
Finally, a techy issue...

Firefox and the Forums:

When using Firefox at home, there is no method of navigating between forums. If I'm in the General Forum, I cannot navigate away, other than clicking the 'Forum' link on the main menu at the top (big black lettering: Home, Forum, User CP, Forum Rules - etc. etc.)

On Internet Explorer, there's a sort of 'navigation tree' that appears just underneath this main menu, but this does not appear at all on Firefox.

(I realise this could be purely down to me, and my system not being set up correctly in some way or other, but as I'm not sure, I will flag it up anyway).

Thank you.

Thanks Fabbs, got the reviews issues from the other post - looking at Firefox now, think I have to add some upgrade patches.
Re the reviews - I too hate the score sheet and have it in my line of fire, it's a hangover from the old site!

Slammin!

In that case, I'll leave the lot in your capable hands, and turn my mind to other matters (such as wroking out how much of this sandwich I can cram in my mouth at once).

Thank you.
