Lost the New Look and other stuff

I had the new look pages...had a visible chat box half way down the page and was chatting to Tony and Mart, then clicked out to go send something in pm and when i returned the chat box had disappeared so I clicked a few things to try and remedy it, changed the new look page to the old look page and completely screwed everything so now I can't get it all back ....

yep, I know I am hopeless with all this....so shoot me!
