Reviews forum....

I'd post this in 'Feedback' but can't seem to access that forum for some reason.


Anyhows... When it comes to the Reviews forum, I note that the place is rapidly becoming a little bit 'spammy'. I'm not being horrible here, everyone has the right to ask for their work to be reviewed. I just find it 'spammy', in the sense that the few people are offering reviews are being drowned out under the ones seeking them, resulting in a rather off-putting wall of headers.

I therefore propose that two sub-forums be created:

Offering reviews

Seeking reviews


Keep 'em segregated, so that anyone wanting reviews can easily find the people offering them and add their names to the list. The 'seeking reviews' forum can then just be a typically chaotic track advertisement zone, to be consumed, or ignored as others see fit.

You might argue that 'seeking reviews' would end up being very similar to 'New MP3s' - however I would add that the latter is a place to notify others of new tracks uploaded, whereas the former is for those seeking detailed feedback. Sure there's some overlap, but nothing that will break the site.
