Log in problem

Anyone else having a problem logging in to the main site? I can get on here in the forum, but can't access my page or comment on anyone else's songs, very frustrating. I've sent notice to admin and received confirmation I'm using the correct user name and password, but it keeps kicking me back to the home page without signing me on. Help!

Hi David,
That really is weird, I've logged in to your account no problem on three different pc's at two different IP addresses without any problem. It must be an issue with your browser.
Try clicking Start > All Programs, Accessories > System Tools > Disk Cleanup
Make sure that you have the 'Internet Files and Folders' box ticked.

If that doesn't work (it should) you could try the following:

Start > Run > then type ipconfig /flushdns
then close the window.

What browser are you using? I can get in using Chrome, Firefox and Explorer.

Using Explorer, A, and tried your first suggestion which didn't solve the problem. The "ipconfig/flushdns" operation will have to wait until the wife wakes up, as she's the system administrator on this pc.

And it is a problem with this pc, as I've been able to access my page through a laptop we have. Unfortunately, as the laptop doesn't have a disk drive, if I can't get this problem fixed on the pc I've got a lot of extra steps to take when I'm ready to upload anything to my page. I use a zoom digital eight mixer with a cdburner to record, then upload my songs from cd to the pc. Should be able to send the file over to the laptop at that point, haven't tried that just yet but will if I have to!

Thanks for the suggestions, and I'll let you know if the second option works when I have a chance to try it.

struck out with the second option as well, A, we're not getting anywhere yet but I'll keep trying!

Did discover I could respond to a post here in the forum, when I tried responding to Hydro's post in this category yesterday it blocked me, but today it seemed to work okay.

Hi David,
I'm away until tomorrow night and won't be at my pc til then (using phone at the moment). I'll get back to looking for solutions tomorrow night and the following morning.
At least we've narrowed it down to being a pc specific problem. One quick check, have you done a windows update recently? Sometimes that can fix a lot of windows bugs. Open Explorer, clicl tools, then windows update and see what happens.

Narrowed it down further, seems to be a problem with my profile on this pc. I can log in under the wife's profile on this pc without any trouble, so that eliminates a lot of the hassle even if I can't get my own profile straightened out.
