Marlboro and Dorchester

A small measure of success....

Clearing the attic at the GF's (which started on Saturday morning) and I managed to liberate an almost full packet of Marlboro and Dorchester smokes.

Both are pre-tar and nicotine level markings so they gotta be a few years old (like about ten) and very nice smokes they are too. The Marloboro's are perfect and the D's are good cept they got a slight perfumy aftertaste.

Given that my lungs are full of dead spider carcasses and several tonnes of dust from clearing the attic the aftertaste is acceptable.

All of this against a backdrop of an increase of 37p on a packet of cigs instigated by our illustrious parliament last week - that has got to be the success story of the week.

Yeah, and in previous budgets the fag prices went up at midnight, this year it was 6pm. Greedy gits.Still, I went to Tesco Express to buy 25g of Cutters Choice rolling weed and they weren't putting up the prices until the next morning so good old Tesco.

Marlboro? YUK! Horrible 'pantyhose' American horrors. For a real fag they should bring back good old lung-twisting Player's No 10. Like smoking carpet but, but, but, very handy when you were potless as they used to be 10p for 10...........(well, I AM 58 and remember the 'old days') LOL!
