Hey old Friends,
I know it's been awhile and you've probably thought I fell off the face of the earth.
To be honest, Steve Wilson as an enterprise, more or less has. I've had a professional facelift if you will.
For about the last 9 months I've been fortunate to be the lead singer/songwriter and rhythm guitarist for my band called "The Black Doves". We've been doing regional touring in Texas and Louisiana.
On Saturday July 5th, we were invited to play here in San Antonio on The Van's Warped Tour with Paramore, Mayday Parade, Angels and Airwaves and a zillion other bands. We're pretty excited and I'm looking forward to bringing all the tunes that you've been so kind about, to a new stage and a new group of listeners.
It's been a crazy year. The album is still not complete, but the producers are coming out of the woodwork. Looks like we'll be working withChris Lieck (2 Grammy's, 11 noms) for the last couple of tunes on the record. After that, who knows....the sky is the limit (but hopefully, a UK tour is in the plan soon!)!
I just wanted to check in with you and let you know I'm still alive. If you have a chance, you can check out the completed versions of 8 of the futre 11 tracks from the upcoming record on "that other website" (our name on there is ..space dot com/theblackdovesusa)

I'd love to hear from you all and I miss this place. I haven't renewed my VIP membership (sorry Stew!). I'm just waiting to find out what's going on with this record. I promise when the thing is finished, there will be a new mp3unsigned account as The Black Doves.
