Would be nice to gain more comments, looks good for the site too.
There are quite a few people commenting but I see it more as selective commenting.

I can't complain, because I mainly only return comments, that are left for me.
It does worry me that alot of the regs seem to skip my page but like I said, I mainly only return them.

I used to think, that's what, most of them were doing. (Returns)
Till I started noticing, they were leaving comments on new members and regs who return to the site
with a new track after a break.

I've got some catching up to do (Returning comments) Sunday looks like a good time to start.
Been really busy these last few weeks and found Sunday to be a good day
as I can return them all in one session.

But since you brought it up...
I've had nothing but problems for months trying to stream MP3U tracks. It ain't my browser cos I've tried others. On one artist page (no names) every time I go to listen,my pc freezes...even before the flash player has loaded. Pressing and holding Ctrl,Alt+delete to shutdown is the only way out of it...and that doesn't always work.

It ain't my machine...I keep it clean and up to date,including Flash.

Sometimes it lets me in...and sometimes it don't...and a frozen computer is not a happy chappy.

Mart, I knew folks were having problems but didn't realize it was this bad. I have to smack prompts twice to get them to work but they do. Okay who ever is on great terms with the admin, please plead them to communicate as to whether anything has been sunk in to their heads or are we seeing a sinking ship. silence is not golden here. This site inspires me to write songs a lot. Grant it I post a tiny portion of what I write but I only post what I like the most for everyone here as you all do as well. I feel there's family here with all the pro's and cons family life has and my heart would break if I woke up to find it gone. These major glitches that have been lingering for the last few months will deter listening to works of talent that deserve large masses of ears. I'm not trying to be negative just realistic because I care about this site. And may I add to any of you new comers, comment on others and you'll get attention. How many times must you be told. lol. This site will give you feedback more then any others and quickly as long as you let folks know you give a darn. Show you give a darn.

I had a flash update a few days ago and since then all pages are playing ball. No having to skip to the next track, to get the first track you clicked on working. I'm using firefox

Yeah I had my Flash prompt this morning,actually...v11.8.800.94 now installed.

Ain't tried it yet lol

I'm using Chrome and I also have problems with PepperFlash. I keep disabling it cos it's pants,but every time I open the browser,it's enabled itself...the little b@st@rd.

I have a slight sense of déja vu right now... I seem to recall often suggesting to users that their problems might clear up by updating/upgrading their browser or plug-ins, but this was so often met with angry indignation (as if to say "why should we have to do it - you fix our problems at your end!")

Needless to say, I quit giving that advice long ago. Of course, there have been many problems which cannot be attributed to a simple update - I admit that (and that's why I asked Techie Sirc to lend a hand on the forum) - but as Ricky has proven, sometimes the simplest solution does work.

But Mart, crashing and freezing are serious issues, so if updates do not work, please let me know ASAP and I'll get Sirc on the case.

Rich, I don't really feel this is a sinking ship - do you? We may have drifted towards the arctic a bit too much, and half the crew may have abandoned or worse, and under the elements the ship itself may be showing the worse for wear than it used to when it was a fine new galleon.

But sinking? I think not. I daresay we still have the strongest of our crew aboard, and I vow to keep us afloat till fate steals my last breath.

When I wrote that ship analogy thing in the post above (about a month ago) it gave me the idea to make an image of a ship representing mp3u crewed by the artists, but never got around to it until yesterday.

Although I said "galleon" above, in the end I decided on a Viking ship, as the colorful shields could easily show artist logos instead of flags and crests.

Anyhoo... blah-de-blah and boring background bollocks aside, there are 12 shields visible in the pic - can anyone name all 12 artists?

(nb: there's no particular significance to those 12 - they're picked randomly from recent and/or regular song uploaders and/or forum contributors. Apologies if your shield isn't visible... But it's on the other side of the ship, trust me )

Things are improving around here as of late, and it seems like a bit more participation in the forums, but just a bit. Lots of intereresting ideas being tossed about just lately about possible improvements, and while I realize it might not be feasible to act on all, it's nice to see people thinking about it.

Can't identify all me sailmates, but smashing work on that third shield from the left, and let's go sack an Irish monastery!
