What famous artists do you hate with a passion?

I'm dying to hear from you guys what artists really get your goat and have you practically pulling your hair out every time their "music" assaults your delicate hammer, anvil and stirrup(s).

This thread is only concerned with already signed artists mind you - not to be directed at the other fine artists who use this fair website. Only those who've made or are making millions plying their detritus to the masses.

I wanna hear who ya hate - and why.

Oooooooooooohhhh, let me see I hate so many signed artists that it's hard for me to pick one to start with. Rather than go for the obvious ones like Lady Gaga or other scantily clad music video merchants I think I'll kick off with one that is far from main stream and very popular with musos. I absolutely cannot stand Radio Head. Everything about them is depressing to me. I just don't get the attraction!

I dunno about hate, I think i'd use the term 'depresses me beyond belief', so I hate them for making me feel like that Linkin' Biscuit or whatever they are called, for making face-pulling music for 9 year old boys, Oasis for being firstly thick and secondly in a band, Nickleback for being a corporate American rock band with no cliche left unturned, any DJ who gets behind the decks and puts both hands up in the air like he's a star or something, U2 for loving the idea of being rock stars, A Flock Of Seagulls for being the ugliest band ever and erm, rappers who start each and every track with the word Yo or yeah, yeah. I'd like to hear them come up with something else.

Apart from that I'm pretty easy going

So Dave, you're ok with Garth Brooks, the whole Stock Aitken and Waterman kit and kaboodle, Right Said Fred, Crazy Frog, and Napalm Death.

Allllll righty then. Each to his own I suppose, but all of the above get my goat and have been plagued me throughout my life.

I blame those guys for the downfall of modern songwriting.

They look like an 80's pornstar, a chubby opera singer and a banker - it's no wonder they came up the sounds and acts that they did

I can't stand Limp Biscuite. Worst band... EVER! Their recordings suck and the distortion in their guitar's are the worst work I've EVER heard. They had the nerve of using a TB-303 (which is analog synthesizer abuse) in the start of one of their albums. Their style TOTALLY coppied Suicidal Tendencies which I have a lot of respect for. They only go to venues because they somehow got some type of fan following. Plus I just don't like them. At all. Whatsoever. At all... Whatsoever.
