All users must reset passwords

Dear Users,

You may have noticed the forums were down for upgrade over the past few days, this went on slightly longer than anticipated but the wait is finally over. We are now operating off an extremely powerful platform which will help to future proof our community while giving you enhanced functionality and lots of cool new features.

Moving from the old software to the new system caused a few problems which will require you to reset certain elements of your user profile:
All passwords must be reset.

To get started in the new forum please fill out the request lost password form in the login area of the forum.


If you have any difficulty with this, please email the site administrators from the Contact forum at the bottom of the forum and your query will be dealt with inside 24hrs at the very latest.

The new forum is still in testing mode so you may notice some issues with bbs codes, avatars and smilies. If you notice anything else, please tell us. This is a steep learning curve for us too!

The site as a whole is going through a major transition phase, and this represents the first phase of the new development. We're excited and very keen to have you part of this journey.

A completely new version of the site will be launched in approx 12 weeks, more details to follow.

five attempts to log on then blocked for 15 minutes. Tried again another 5 times and was blocked for another 15 minutes. Reset the password and only after logging in with the new password did I discover why it all happened.

Maybe if I'd just tried to read the forums before logging in I would have found out earlier.

Wow, did we have trouble with this yesterday. Although we are not around for the summer, thought that we should follow your instructions and apply for the new password sooner rather than later. Imagine our horror when it said we were banned and would never be reinstated!!.
Thankyou for sorting this out for us. This new version of the forum looks a little more complicated for us non-computer buffs but suppose we will get used to it in time. At least there is always someone around to lend a helping hand if need be. Looking good though.
