Not sure about where to send them, but I've just been reading a self-promotion book for a college task. It advises presentation is everything. Good artwork on CD cover. Make sure contact details are on the cd and cover. Use a proper cd jewel case with name/artist down the spine so it can be read on a A&R man's shelf. Make a press kit giving some details about yourself/band, gigs, songs, anything reported in the press. Follow up with phone calls. Sending to big radio stations probably a waste of time. College and local stations a better option. Sell soul to Devil...

Just an idea: send them to Ricky, he's involved with a record label. He's helped me try to get one of my dancey tunes into a club-friendly format. (Although I've not finished it yet!)

A promoter friend of mine is on the case! It's not entirely finished material actually....I was going to send it off as it is but have been talked into beefing it up and finding someone else to do the production and even completely changing some of the music etc....so for now I'm going to be getting that up to scratch...hopefully with the help of some more experienced production etc.....in the meantime I'm going to work on some new material aswell......I haven't actually got anything set up at the moment and haven't had for months....so time to dust off the cobwebs ...set it all up and get creating!
