producer vs windows 7 :s

dunno if anyone remembers me but i used to frequent this forum before taking a massive leave from music making, since then ive upgraded to windows 7 and sure enough NOTHING will work on it O_O. right now im using ableton live 8 and it runs but my midi controller doesnt it just gives me a few nots and but most the time the keys dont respond. any advice is welcome here.

The lack of response suggests either:

(a) Nobody knows the answer to your dilemna.

or (and more likely)

(b) Nobody can be arsed replying.

We had huge problems too when we changed to windows 7 and got it all sorted through the Windows 7 forum and the forum of our DAW which happens to be Sonar. You probably already know the Ableton forum so between the 2 they should have you up and running in no time. Ableton Forum • Index page
