Thanks , Rich, for making us all aware of Ian's struggles over the past few years and his imminent transition out of this existence. Blessings to Sara, and Monica and the rest of Ian's close family and dear friends. The Black Sabbath days wouldn't have been the same without Ian's part, and just learning of his ability to create his own music in the later years via limited computer technology and knowledge, yet he got to us and reached many ears and hearts, especially in this recent year.
A gentleman, for certain, and a kind spirit too, never wishing to impose on anyone's good graces. I learned he loved the Mounties, and he wondered whether he would be a dashing figure in the scarlet tunic and stetson

I sent him the theme song for Dudley Do-Right of the Mounties...a cartoon with the Rocky and Bullwinkle show of the late sixities, I think, and did some voice over parts as a humourous spin on his dream, and he was thrilled and so grateful. He always appreciated anything anyone did, and any interest anyone expressed in his own compositions. Bates Motel was one song that caught my ear and from there we traveled on in friendship.
Again, Rich, thanks for connecting the dots with others on the site and being the BIG heart that you are, caring and connected...thanks.
A gentle voyage ahead, Ian - our wish for you.
All the best,
Terry
