Why not let everyone hear your voice and words of seasonal cheer? It is time to think ahead to Christmas and all the artists we have come to know on MP3U.
Now this year, I wondered about singing, humming, Kazoo-ing a line from your favourite carol, or seasonal tune,
in addition to the spoken message...even if it is a line from the Grinch...read a quote...all that I hope for is to provide the opportunity for as many artists as we can jam into an mp3 file in time for Christmas, to say something personal - a note of season's greetings, perhaps a cheery, "Happy holidays," or even, "Merry Christmas!" And, if you are brave or feel foolish enough, try to sing a line from your favourite tune...(if you go on and on I may take the liberty of fading you out

low-res output @128kbps (to keep the files small)...key signature/timing/accompaniment tempo...do as you please.
A typical script might be "Hi, this is Kevin of ATuesdayParadox on mp3u, Happy holidays everyone. My favourite carol is one my family sang when we put up the tree..."O Christmas Tree...."
15-20 s? Is that possible? It will be fun to hear from as many artists as possible...the more the merrier. If I have to split the track into two parts, that's ok....MP3U allows for 15mb, I think...should be plenty of room for 30-40 artists on one file..
Last Year's message is still up at the end of my page, I think. Similar assembly idea for this year, I think.

Any questions?
Right then! Off we go to spread some cheer! Have some FUN in the process!
Deadline for messages will be Dec 9 ( to give me time to sort it all out, with the track going up the week before Christmas (Dec. 16) as a lead -in to the festive season)
All the best,
Terry
