A Thread for sharing memories

So, with that uncertainty, off we go!

The idea was to provide a place to share memories, or even ideas about the concept of memory e.g. false memory, brain functioning, amnesia, Alzheimer, dementia, reality as a function of memory, existence as a function of memory, personality as a function of memories, community as a function of shared memories - the good the bad and the unpleasant and whatever else anyone wishes to share.

There was a thread concerning old photos. Perhaps that could be re-visited? I am not sure how to share photos (time-frozen memory moments), but no doubt someone will post a "how-to"...even videos?

The point is to simply open a channel and share the gamut of human (animal memories?...pets? ) experience we know by the word memory.

In the song, A Kite, A Tale, and the Memories, I shared a tradition I maintain. It is about the purging of memories - ways to get rid of some of the baggage of accumulated memories. That is my starting point and contribution to this thread.
