Our Animal Friends

Murphy came from a Dog rescue centre. He had no history as he was found stray. He was aged at around 7, but I am sure he is older as he is starting to grey on his black bits rapidly

He's such a lovely good natured dog and only wants to be nuzzling with you 24/7, I can't imagine why he was abandoned. I love him to bits and wanted to share this photo I uploaded it to Facebook a little while ago. It more belongs here

My Technics amp has put up with alot of shit over the several years I have owned it. It's been a solid work horse in spite of the fact I have too many speakers and Bass cones wired up for it. It just works so well. I cherish it lol. It's cool you have one also, you will know how damn reliable and good they sound.

I've just reacquainted myself with vinyl using my old technics amp. Happy days! I suppose you DJ types never left vinyl. There's something engaging about the sound which you just don't get with digital. Whether it's analogue saturation or a bit of noise floor gluing the mix together, I don't know. I'm thinking of buying a decent tape saturation emulator plug-in to try and get that sound out of my mixes. Do you use anything like that?

She's a 6 month old Rhodesian Ridgeback/Whippet mix. Agility for DAYS! Rescued her from the Doggy Pokie Saturday. She has not barked once since. Loves everyone & everything she's met here on the beach.

You know, humans are responsible for both dogs and cats. 10K years ago the only ancestor on the planet to the dog was the wolf. Dogs did not exist until we domesticated them. The ONLY reason they exist is because of us. They are our best friend because they evolved to please us. They study our every move and do all they can to make us happy because of evolution. We owe them! How dare we let them be euthanized by the thousands! I think the same is true for cats, but I haven't studied them.
