Hi everyone,
I thought it would be interesting to hear the real artists' voices - the spoken voices behind the songs we all listen to and enjoy. So, I was thinking that IF there were other artists with mics, who would like to send a holiday shout -out to the mp3 community, I would be willing to assemble a "holiday" track featuring a compilation of 5-10 second clips (128 kbps quality to keep file size to a minimum ...but I'm open to suggestions as to the best methodology) from all who want to join this seasonal happy festivus (remember the Seinfeld episode?) activity. You can be cheery, grumpy, energetic, lethargic, happy or S.A.D. (seasonally affected disorder

....just press record and talk into your mic using your DAW and send me the mp3 file. I'll try to create one track of Christmas (or seasonal - Diwali, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah well-wishes). I'll post the accumulated greetings to my page the week before Christmas.
Wouldn't it be fun to hear your favourite band, soloist, artist, composer in their real voice? Help me make this happen for Christmas 2012...the deadline for submissions as December 21 ...in case the Mayans were right
All the best, and looking forward to receiving those clips

Fun, Fun FUN!

P.S. I'm always open to better ideas so consider this thread an open mic for any and all to contribute ideas
