Tunes to Drive too
LIQUID 21-05-2010, 11:24 AM

My Wife (Lisa) and I are off to The States soon for our 25th Wedding celebrations. Were driving from San Fransico to Vegas and need a few good tunes to listen too. I'd like to introduce Lisa to some of the amazing stuff you guys are doing and would like you to recomend me a track or two that you think would suite a road trip. If your too modest to post your own please offer up someone elses track you think fits the bill.

Thanks in antic...........ipation

Ant

Sounds like a nice journey that. I'd probably be tempted to flick through the vast swathes of radio instead of listening to a pre-made selection, that way you get all the flavours and atmosphere as you drive. Bloody envious me! Gas stations with restrooms and a built on home made burger bar... oh yes

I can tell you what not to listen to...''Welcome to the jungle'',Gun's 'n Roses.
I've had two bad crashes listening to that track....definitely a ''pedal to the metal'' kinda track.

Noisia playlist
Contact (noisia remix)
Stigma
Facade
Block Control

Then a dash of Spor - Qemists remix with a helping of Current Value and Limewax

If you don't crash at some point after that...then all I can suggest is "we hate russell" - Venetian Snares

Whenever I went on long car trips as a kid, the B-52's always made good traveling music. Not a bad choice if your just leasurely enjoying the scenery. When I play driving video games... I listen to Trash, Death or Heavy metal or Gabber type techno music. Pretty much Hardcore music in general. It also depends on what and how fast I'm driving.
