FL10 Pro for EDM...cos it's awesome

Reason for Piano/Strings etc...most intuitive DAW I've ever used.

I tried Cubase for a couple of months...not impressed meself.
Powerful, but definitely NOT intuitive...in my humble opinion.

I use Orion made by Synapse.

All I will say is, that it suit's my purposes. Nothing more.

I reckon FL Studio is the way to go.

Loads of evidence of it's power on show within the site!

Not too bad on it's price either.

You have to also consider the length of time you will need to become a master of the software.

However IMHO, FL studio offers some of the best studio elements out there at the moment!

Excellent thread BTW!!

I'm off to buy FL studio now

Take care

Cubase SX3 cos I paid for it (and wasn't not cheap). If I had to learn everything again from scratch again though I would save myself a few hundred quid and go with Reaper. It does everything Cubase does and is constantly improving. Except for EZdrummer I don't really use much midi at all so I've never looked at FL or the other electronic oriented stuff, just plug and play with the guitars and bass for me.

Orion Platinum's great I have it, after messin with FL you'll never get used to the interface though that's why I don't use it, FL XXL does everything but boast the higher level of sound that Ableton Live does, have that as well but not the pro version so it's useless too me.

Thanks for the Responce on this little subject

Ive been using FL Studio for a while now , its simply to use compared to other DAWs ive used , and its served me well .

Its intresting to see how many Artists on here use it , there are a list of DAWs available and funny enough FL Studio was voted as number one in the Top daws of 2011 on a few sites ive visited .

Here is the THE BEST 15 DAWS
According to Voters.

I may just stick with FLS for the time being

It also Depends on what your doing , e.g Recording Live , using vsti , i suppose at the end of the day , every daw has it purpose for the project you working on .

Cheers

Degs

I've got Live ...it sounds poop! It sounds like a little iddy biddy gnat fart

FL Studio way,way bigger sound...for me anyway.
