History:

Originally formed in Elgin Moray, Edgar Road broke into the Alternative rock scene in 2013 with their debut EP named Just another Lie. The band's latest EP, Malicious of the Previous, merges Mark Conti’s unapologetic lyrics with shoe-gazing Electo Vibes to generate a bevy of Potential chart-topping creations. With standout tracks like "If the Sun’s in the Sky," already No3 in the UK Unsigned Bands to Top100, Edgar Road can count on loads of future success.

The line up consists of Mark Conti Vocals/Keys & Guitar, Michael Byiers Bass/Vocals, Simon Watterson Guitar & Allan Hall on Drums.

The history of the creation of the band goes further back to 1997, where Mark, Michael and Allan were core members of Crannog later Keeba. Crannog were a Celtic Rock band appearing at T in the Park, toured America and also Europe. Releasing 3 albums and a commitment of 7 years supporting the likes of “The commitments”, Dodgy and more notably alongside Reef, Republica and Bob Geldof. Eventually the band decided that after various changes in line up it was time to hang the guitars up.

Edgar Roads Sound has some elements of the Crannog vibe and continues to develop and experiment with new styles and effects. With the addition to the band of Simon Watterson on Guitar the band have started to develop some interesting Riff’s and Style.

Having had some positive reviews and 3 tracks in the TOP100 UK Unsigned bands chart, the supporters base is growing and people are becoming more aware of the Band.

Yet to GIG, the band will be in summer looking for slots to bring the music to the supporters. 

They have an application accepted by "Glastonbury Music Festival 2015" and are registering for as many Band competitions as possible.
