Derk Jickface started a band called Brothermaniac in the mid to late 90s. Actually that's not entirely true... Effin Lagassi was there the night that they both decided on the band name Brothermaniac. But being a stupid 20 something year old, Derk never really got any songs finished or ever released an album.   Fast forward a decade and a few years to the end of 2009 when his friend aka Jack Awesome said, "I wanna make a song about how awesome I am at video games."  Thus the song "Jack Awesome" was created in a span of only a few days.  They couldn't stop there though... 

Somehow, and for whatever reason, Sir Charles began an interest in becoming a collaborator to the band. He, in fact supplied the backing vocals to the chorus of "Jack Awesome."  So of course Derk offered him the gig... as an equal sharing member.  And then there's Derk's long time best friend/brother Sean Hartter.  He is truly an artist beyond our times.  He and Derk used to record songs on 4 track tape cassettes in the early 90s under the pseudonyms Slap Master D and Mock Dog.  So he kept his name and joined the band at Derk's insistence.  Since the beginning of 2010, Brothermaniac has released two albums (Brothermaniac Inc. and Look Who's Back) in less than a year with plenty more to come.   So stay tuned...
