God Disorder (Rough Mix)
Kirche Gothika is a Christian Industrial Metal project by John S. Weekley, and a side project to Tenebrae Aeternus (fka. Verschlüsseltes Paradoxon). Originally, KG started out as an instrumental electro experiment with no particular goal in mind. Eventually, music style started getting heavier with the addition of distorted vocals. Lyrics were mostly based off of the Holy Bible as well as real life experiences and observation. Eventually, guitars were added to the mix which then made KG into Industrial Metal. First "official" album released was "End Times" in 2010 featuring 9 tracks (3 of which are remixes done by other artists) and was only released via Internet. No material copy was ever made. After that, KG went on a nearly 2 year hiatus.
In mid 2012, Kirche Gothika started making new material and released a teaser track titled "Fall to Sickness." New album, Chaos Dimension, is expected to be released in 2013 but there is still potential for a release in late 2012. KG yet again is experimenting with sound. The new album seems to be a bit more electronic based rather than Metal and the distortion of the vocals has been cut down. Lyrics are still Christian themed but with a bit more ambiguity, only to broaden the fanbase. Also, it makes writing lyrics a bit more interesting and fun that way. KG is only getting heavier and darker as time goes on.
