The filtering in the intro is a good way to start, the intro is pretty good and comes together when the bass comes back in the mix at full (1:53). The side chain compression is good too, and leads into a nice breakdown, very calm. The main build is excellent and carries the energy from the intro and evolves it into nice melodies before it goes to ending. here are some tips to get better production~i felt the vocals lacked the drive and clarity in this track. For vocals separate the vocal into 2 channels~ in one channel have it dry with high compression and low threshold, and a 2nd channel for the reverb and 3rd,4th ect channel containing any other effects you wish to add ex delay, chorus ect., this ensures the vocal is clear and front of the mix while the effects phatten it up behind. Keep all the other channels very low, even though they may not be heard that well it really does help! You can put filters, gates, on all 3 channels to have quick effects to pop up here and there applying to the full vocal Not bad at all for your first track with vocals~ really good job i liked it~ Thumbs up.
