'Screaming From Confinement' A very progressive and technical piece. Most of the song is based on heavier sections and odd time signatures, but this song ventures into a softer session, but then again right back out. This song speaks of who we are, and that one day we will be noticed for our talents. this song is very difficult.

This has become one of my favorite songs... period. The break has a Metallica vibe. I hope you don't mind, but I use it to promote my custom guitar work. It's a real shame you guys aren't more prominent. I've searched the internet & can't find anymore of your music.

OMG!! This is absolutely awesome. Dream Theater have been one of my favourite bands ever since Images and Words and this is the nearest I've heard anyone else come to matching them. Agree with Rich about hearing Extreme in the vocals whcih sound a lot like Nuno Bettencourt, which again is a great thing in my opinion. Can't fault anything about this and wouldn't want to. Amazing. Rated. Craig

Hell yea, excellent track - my kind of metal. Real tight and love the odd meterings, keyboards are an added bonus especially as they don't use naff sounds (like so many other prog bands). Vocals are killer! Real wierd little transistion to a celtic inspried section towards the end - you guys deserve to get signed.

Totally awesomw style, production & performances. Reminds of all the Rich stated and a bit of Yes in places. Very nice mix of genres including Fusion. The best track I've heard in quite awile. Rate, Rec & Nom. Let's hear more!!

Great prog rock track! Hear Metallica/Extreme type vocals in this! The breakdown took me by surprise and wonder if it's too much of a transition from the original musical concept. King Crimson also comes to mind! Super tight and technically stunning! Heavy prog rock overtones but conversly commercially appealing. Should post this in the new MP3 forum for maximum exposure guys! Enjoyed this and welcome to the site!

Press Release Cast This Life January 20, 2009 West Virginia Cast This Life is the name of the group. Members include Josh O’Dell, Thomas Jenkins, Tim Kaminski and Chad Kaminski. Even though they originate from different counties in West Virginia, when they get together the music they write, the sound they create is pure rock. They do however, venture into different styles of music to experience different textures and sounds. “The emotions we feel is a little bit of everything -the feeling of happiness, success, anger and depression. It’s a good feeling in every way, that’s for sure. Music is emotion that no one will ever understand completely. No matter how touched or moved you are by a composition, the listener and the writer still sit back amazed. For someone to feel this type of emotion cannot be described on paper. We plan to touch people in this way, and we do.” The truth is that they touched a lot of hearts. Their ability to be very creative and versatile within the same album, takes you through many stages of personal feelings. Cast This Life goes from heavy metal to melodic tunes, with beautifully written and produced pieces. It is truly a pleasure having the opportunity to listen to their personalities come through on this album. Listening to groups such as Dream Theater, Soilwork, Metallica, Megadeth and more, helped weave their own sound into a technique that they can truly call their own. They’ve headlined and they’ve opened for other groups. They have also played with some great groups. They are looking forward to a full on radio interview in Cincinnati, Ohio next month. There are other exciting projects lined up for them in 2009. This will prove to be a very successful year for Cast This Life. In regards to touring, January of 2009 is booked and they will continue to book because they are very exciting to watch and listen to.
