Why do I fall in love
Great and different melody. The drop is good, a real Dave Grohl feel to the vocals. It's been said, but too much reverb, man and watch the popping p's but I love this track! You like to do the same things to nice tunes that I do - wring em dry and stamp on em! Great. Loved the way the reverb dropped off at the end. Now I understand!
Nice to hear from you again, Bob - it has been too long. Time sure has it's way of flying by doesn't it... You re-enter as I remember you - an accomplished songwriter & performer! Wonderful song. Welcome back, my friend! :)
Hiya Bob!! Great to see you back hun!! Chilled track. Alot of reverb , maybe you could tone it done on your voice a tad? Because it sounds beautiful and the reverb kinda drowns it a little for me. Having said that I love the reverb and panning of the guitar, it sounds lush to me. Engaging.....ohh boy the main drop just came in! Wow - powerful- I like this section alot, it is slightly clipping on the most powerful vocal parts - you might want to look at that. But boy it HAS to be hard to mix this kind of power down. Drums sound sweet to me in the mix by the way. Hard one to call on the mix ...lol :) It's a wicked track. I really like the build up and downs. Sweet ending!:) Solid job, just a few mixdown points!! Great to see ya back! :) Ess X
Hey Bob! great to see you back, and even greater to see some new stuff from you. Always enjoyed your music man. Anyway, nice and pretty acoustic verses, very melodic, and the change sections after the 2min mark are Fab!...love that interesting structure, change of pace, and the rhythmic stabs you got going on. As always, ultra proficient guitar work and engaging, tender, heartfelt vocal in this too. Very Zepplin-esque to me, shades of Robert Plant. No easy achievment. My ears are pleased anyway:) Mark
